This is usually achieved by displaying escort cards prominently at the entrance to the venue. Escort cards will have a guests name and their table assignment written on it.Table cards are placed on tables to display the number or name of the table. If you have a large number of tables you might also want to display a floor plan to show where the tables are.

Place cards are placed at each setting to ensure guests sit in the correct seats.
If you have assigned guests to seats you will need:

These can be as simple or elaborate as you like. More important is that you have a good table plan that seats the right guests together for a fun and enjoyable reception.

3 ounces vodka

1 ounce limoncello1

teaspoon simple syrup (see note)

Lemon twists

Fill a shaker with ice. Add vodka, limoncello and simple syrup. Shake well and strain into oversized martini glasses. Garnish each with a lemon twist.

Note: Simple syrup is made by combining 2 parts granulated sugar with 1 part water. Simmer, stirring, over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Chill before using.
